Warm, Cozy & Comfortable Phaeton

We are just about to wrap up the custom work on this Phaeton. The owners of this coach have plans to travel full time in a year or so. They decided to get a jump on things and have their coach customized to their needs a little early so they could hit the road on a moment’s notice. Our clients made several trips to our facility going over ideas and establishing a budget, once we had the scope of the project narrowed down we began the design and made material selections. Amongst a lengthy list of upgrades and additions the fireplace was a must, we were more than happy to accommodate this request. The fireplace really gives this coach a warm comfortable feeling. In addition to the fireplace we removed the TV from the overhead and incorporated the new LED and Blu-ray surround system into the driver side slideout. The LED TV sits nicely above the fireplace with the components hidden in the cabinet directly above it controlled through an IR repeater. To finish out the Audio/Video we installed a Winegard dish and a Digital TV antenna. The flooring was upgraded with very nice plush carpeting throughout. We ordered dual Auto Motion window shades, Auto Motion shades are of the highest quality and function and really take the hassle out of window coverings. After shade selection the clients were unsure of the original fabric covered valances and decided to go with solid maple valances. I couldn’t agree more the original valances completely dominated the décor and were a bit much. Another worthwhile upgrade was changing out all of the overhead fluorescents with LED tubes, the new lights draw next to no power and will last thousands of hours. The bedroom TV was removed and we finished off the space behind it that was previously wasted. Building and LED TV into a swinging door to allow access to the new storage space has become quite popular with our clients.
