Our latest project is this 38′ Featherlight race car hauler, we are designing and custom building an interior living space for our customer to make the time at the track even more enjoyable. We have had the pleasure of doing some many custom RV interiors and when approached about doing a race hauler from scratch we figured why not do something a little different. After several weeks of meeting with the customer we have a good solid design and quality components sourced now all we have to do is get to work. As with all of our projects everything from custom cabinets to plumbing will be done in house. This is shaping up to be a really fun project, I will be adding pictures of the custom conversion as well as a few of the monster this thing will be hauling as we progress.
We have been making some great progress on this project. I have added some additional photos of the work. As you will see the framing, wiring for the ceiling and one piece headliner are all installed. All of the cut outs have been made for appliance vents and plumbing. Most of the walls panels are now installed along with the flooring. The only thing you won’t see in one of our custom interiors is unsightly trims or moldings, all of our work is planned and executed in a very high quality manner to allow everything to come together perfectly and provide a smooth flow between materials. One piece headliners without batten strips every four feet are a bit tricky and time consuming but the smooth finished product is definitely worth the time and energy. We are now moving on to cabinetry, plumbing and wiring. Check back often for updates.
