This is the second coach from the same owner to come to Truline RV to get custom work done. His first was a 40′ Dutchstar. While that was a great coach – personalizing it made it better. Now with a few extra feet, this Monaco will end up being just to the owners’ new liking.
There is an extensive project list for custom work, as well as a punch list for routine repairs and maintenance.
Some of the work includes removing the old Norcold refrigerator and installing a Samsung 18 cubic foot residential model. This change requires custom cabinetry, upgraded wiring and additional Battery Amp hours. (We had to remove the windshield to get this in!)
The bedroom slide out is being modified to upgrade from a queen-size bed to a king. Working on slides is both structural as well as aesthetic. There is substantial cabinetry involved, along with retaining the engineering integrity in moving the electronics and motors.
Although not as complex, full extension sliding shelves are being installed in the pantry and bedroom closets. Take a look at the photos. There is no particle board and no staples. Our cabinetry is furniture grade and built to last.
In addition, some existing cabinetry was removed to make room for a custom built wooden wine rack below the table.
Finishing off the major items for the interior features the installation of new cherry wood valences with Hunter wood shades. All valence work requires custom crafting.
All the custom work isn’t taking place inside, however, a 32″ LCD HDTV flatscreen is being installed in one of the exterior bays on a full motion bracket with a DirecTV receiver.
There are several dozen other items going into this project, and we’ll update and add an extensive gallery when it is completed.
