Newmar Dutchstar Remodel

This Dutchstar made the long journey down from Canada for some updates and a makeover. Considering the great distance between our facility and the customers home up in Canada it took a few phone calls and e-mails to get the project narrowed down regarding components and design before they headed down to have their custom Coach work done. The owners of this coach had made up their mind that they wanted to leave their coach with us and return after we had transformed it into an entirely different coach. We made a considerable amount of changes to the interior, we started with getting rid of the old furniture, carpet and shades. After extending the depth of the slideout floor to accommodate two swivel recliners we installed new carpet and dual roller shades then we began with the cabinet work. After going back and forth with many ideas and design changes we settled on the custom Cabinet in the passenger side slide. Incorporated in this cabinet is a 32” LED on a motorized lift, Blu-ray player, Satellite receiver, computer on a slide tray, printer on a slide tray, full depth filing cabinet and custom hidden Corian top extension. We also built a smaller custom cabinet in the opposing slide with a full extension drawer and Corian insert for table space. We converted the Old front TV cabinet into storage and we also built a custom swinging door with a flush mount LED for the bedroom. The original Oven was removed to allow room for three large full extension drawers below the new range top. The carpeted plumbing cover next to the toilet was also removed and replaced with hardwood and Corian. Along with several other small additions we made quite a few routine maintenance repairs to the coach to ensure it was ready to go for the owners.
